Valencia Airport
Guide To Valencia AirportAt the moment there is some building work going on at the airport which is necessary to cope with the huge increase in passengers. The majority (60%) of the traffic is national with countries like the UK, Germany, France and other European countries making up the remaining 40 %.
Airlines such as British Airways, Easyjet, Thomsonfly, Ryanair, Jet2 and EUjet offer regular flights from many cities in the UK including Manchester, Coventry, Bristol and London (Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted).
The airport is divided into three floors. On the ground floor is the arrivals hall where several car hire companies have desks. Also available on this floor are a first aid service, two cafes, 6 baggage reclaim points and the departure area for regional aviation flights. If you should choose not to take advantage of one of the five car hire companies here, the bus stops and a taxi rank are located just outside the terminal.
The first floor is used for the check-in and departures for international and domestic flights. All Gates (except E15 and E16 which are on the ground floor) can also be found here. There is a total of 7 shops and three VIP lounges (two of them from Aena and one from Iberia), a meeting room for 8 to 10 people and two cafes/restaurants located on the first floor.
The second floor provides a chapel, two cafes and another meeting room which can accommodate up to 80 people.
