Guide To San Sebastian AirportThe airport is a two storey building with arrivals on the ground floor and departures on the first floor. Despite the fact that San Sebastian's Airport is international, it still handled only 306,050 passengers in 2005. There are two larger airports in Bilbao and Santander which are located to the west of San Sebastian and are easy to access for those who decide to take advantage of the car hire desks at the airport.
San Sebastian airport is not only used as for passenger transportation but also as an airport for flying lessons. The Nortego air service and flying school is located on the first floor in the terminal building where the departures lounge and restaurant can be found.
On the ground floor is the arrivals hall with three major car hire desks, baggage reclaim counter, café, multi-shop, ATM machine, tourist information desks and a business centre which has to be booked in advance.
A VIP lounge, a car park which is located opposite the terminal and has a capacity of 584 cars, and facilities for passengers with disabilities are also provided by the San Sebastian Airport.
