Ibiza Airport
Guide To Ibiza AirportWith 49,603 flight operations and over four million passengers Ibiza Airport is one of the busiest in Spain. Most of the traffic is handled between May and October, when tourists come from all over the world to enjoy the warm summer months of the island.
Ibiza Airport has only one terminal building which deals with all flights and has all facilities and amenities one would expect from a busy airport that is located in the tourist resort. The arrivals hall is on the ground floor of the building and departures are spread over the ground and the first floor.
On the ground floor you will find 6 shops which offer all kinds of goods, one café, a medical service, a bank, four lost and found desks, a post office, five car hire companies and other facilities. All gates, plus another six shops and four cafes and restaurants, are located on the 1st floor.
Business travellers might be interested in the airport's conference room which can accommodate up to 80 people and is situated in the technical block. Again there are five car hire desks in the arrivals hall and it is highly recommended to contact them and reserve a car in advance to make sure you don't have to wait and your car will be ready at your arrival.
